2025 Growth Symposium: Infrastructure, Influence & Insight
Wednesday, September 17 | 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Taylor, Texas
As Central Texas continues to evolve rapidly, the communities of East Williamson, Milam, Lee, Burleson, and Bastrop counties are navigating a critical moment in growth, infrastructure planning, and public policy. The Taylor Chamber’s annual Growth Symposium returns this fall with a new format and a fresh focus on the infrastructure and legislative insights shaping the future of our region.
This year’s theme—Infrastructure, Influence & Insight—brings together public sector leaders, infrastructure experts, and seasoned political voices to provide a practical understanding of where things stand and where they’re headed.
We’ll kick things off with coffee, pastries, and networking at 8:30 a.m., followed by a morning of presentations and discussion.
Agenda Highlights:
9:10 a.m. – Oncor
A representative from Oncor (tentatively Wilson Peppard) will share updates on regional power infrastructure and future energy planning.
9:40 a.m. – Texas Water Development Board
A look at water resources and resilience, including regional implications, with a representative such as Jonathan Mathers (invited).
