Temple College, Greater Taylor Foundation, and Taylor Chamber of Commerce Launch Free Job Training Program in Taylor
Taylor, TX — Temple College, in partnership with the Greater Taylor Foundation and the Taylor Chamber of Commerce, is proud to announce the launch of Go2Work Taylor, a free job training initiative designed to help community members strengthen their skills and advance their careers.
The program will run November 10–20, 2025 (Monday–Thursday, 10 AM–3 PM) at the Temple College Taylor Center, 516 North Main Street, Taylor, TX.
Participants who successfully complete the course will be eligible to earn the Customer Service & Sales Certification through the National Retail Federation — a credential recognized nationwide. Along with customer service training, the program will introduce participants to additional career pathways and skills development opportunities for those seeking to grow or transition into new roles.
“Customer service skills are valuable everywhere and in every job,” said Tia Rae Stone, President & CEO of the Taylor Chamber of Commerce. “This program is about more than training — it’s about opening doors for individuals who want to grow, retrain, or take the next step in their career journey.”
The program is open to all community members, whether recent graduates, individuals seeking employment, or those looking to upskill for career advancement.
Support Services Available:
Recognizing that barriers such as childcare can make participation challenging, the Chamber encourages anyone with specific needs to reach out directly. The goal is to ensure that every participant has the resources and support needed to succeed.
Registration is free. Participants who complete the program will leave with a nationally recognized credential and valuable career skills.
