TAYLOR, TX – The Greater Taylor Foundation’s Launch Taylor Entrepreneurship Program marked a milestone on August 6, 2025, celebrating the graduation of its very first cohort of local entrepreneurs with an evening of networking, dining, and high-energy business pitches.

The inaugural graduating class included:

• Moses Buzan – 74 Man Store
• John Dohmann – JAC Construction
• Felicia Graves – Little Fireflies Pediatric Therapy
• Andreina Moncada – Brow Bar (unable to attend)
• Julie Rydell – Plow & Hose: Gardening in Central Texas
• Vanessa Sweet – Le Petit Canard (unable to attend)

“These entrepreneurs have shown incredible dedication and passion over the past 10 weeks. We are proud to support their journey and can’t wait to see the impact they’ll make in our community,” said Tia Rae Stone, President and CEO of the Taylor Chamber of Commerce.

The celebration featured a Pitch Contest, where four graduates presented their business ideas and visions for the future to an engaged audience. At the end of the evening, each graduate received a Launch Taylor certificate, a one-year free Taylor Chamber membership, and a 15-minute radio segment on KRXT to promote their business.

Special recognitions included:

• Felicia Graves – $500 microgrant from the Taylor Rotary Club
• Moses Buzan – $1,000 in KRXT radio advertising

Launch Taylor is a 10-week entrepreneurship course funded by the Greater Taylor Foundation, administered by the Taylor Chamber of Commerce, and instructed by Temple College—a collaborative effort aimed at fueling economic growth and local business success.

Applications for the next Launch Taylor cohort will open in January 2026. Interested entrepreneurs are encouraged to follow the program’s website for updates and application details.
