Cattle Ranch Gathering Program set for September 3rd in Taylor

The Williamson County Sheriff’s office is hosting a free Cattle Ranching educational program in conjunction with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.  


The dinner evening event will be held at the Williamson County Expo Center located at 5350 Bill Pickett Trail, Taylor, 76574 on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 6 – 8 PM.  


Williamson County’s Dan Gattis Jr., of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, will speak on “Legislative topics that will directly impact our Texas Cattle Industry.   

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Beef Cattle Specialist, Dr. Jason Cleere, will speak on important considerations for you to improve your cattle herd.   


Our Williamson County Sheriff Matthew Lindemann will be our program host.   


“This is a rare, special event opportunity being offered to our ranching community.” AgriLife Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources agent Gary Pastushok, Williamson County.


The dinner program is FREE, and participants will need to RSVP to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office by AUGUST 27th to reserve your seat.  Attendance is limited, so reserve early.
