We are incredibly proud to share that the Taylor Chamber of Commerce was awarded 1st Place for Event Marketing at the annual Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE) Media Awards.

The award was officially presented during the TCCE Annual Conference in Abilene, Texas, where chamber professionals from across the state gathered to share best practices, discuss regional economic growth, and celebrate excellence in community leadership.

What the TCCE Media Awards Mean

For those unfamiliar with the organization, the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE) is the longest-standing association of chamber professionals in the nation, operating since 1906. It serves as the governing body for professional education, resources, and operational excellence for chambers across Texas.  

Every year, the TCCE Media Contest highlights outstanding marketing and communications efforts that drive real results for local economies. Submissions are reviewed by an expert panel of judges from across local, state, and national chamber networks.  

The Event Marketing category is highly competitive. Judges evaluate submissions based on strict criteria, looking closely at:

• Innovation & Creativity: How distinct and engaging the campaign is compared to standard marketing.
• Design & Cohesiveness: The strategic choice of color palettes, clear photography, and consistent branding.
• Growth Impact: How effectively the campaign contributes to building community engagement, increasing local event attendance, and fostering membership growth.

Taking home top honors means our marketing materials didn't just look great—they actively moved the needle for Taylor's business ecosystem.

While this state-level trophy reflects the high standards of the Taylor Chamber as a whole, this milestone belongs to the strategic vision and creative dedication of our marketing lead, Shaiza Chaudhry.
