About Us
Our “pocket hotel” (just another word for small—we only have 11 rooms) is located in historic downtown Taylor, Texas, and a short walk or bike ride to stores and restaurants, including Old Taylor High – Taylor’s repurposed 1922-built high school, which has been turned into a charming collection of businesses including a tap room, a cocktail bar, restaurants, an arcade, dessert shops, a yoga studio, and other retailers!
The name Talbot Commons recognizes the property’s location on Talbot Street and the concept of a common space for people to gather, connect, and have fun.
