Hotel Occupancy Tax (aka HOT) use training

Partners from the Texas Hotel Lodging Association  will provide training on legal uses of Hotel Occupancy Tax income.

The local tax is 7% paid by hotels, motels, b&bs and vacation rentals.
The law dictates nine areas in which the income can be spent.
This training will educate the Chamber staff and board, City volunteers or staff and, space permitting, anyone else interested in this community revenue source.
Attendance is limited to 40 people.
