Good Life Fair & 5K

Good Life Fair & 5K at Bull Branch. 5K race starts at 8 am. THE 5K Enjoy a quiet, quaint, but quick run. Designed with input from competitive runners, our course zips you through North Taylor with multiple changes in scenery on a flat route. We start and finish in Bull Branch Park, but you'll also experience a bit of our countryside and Taylor living. No matter your experience, we encourage all skill levels to participate. Strollers, teams & costumes are welcome! Awards will be presented to 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place in each Men's and Women's divisions. Our divisions are divided by age groups: 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ THE KIDS' K The Kids' K will be held within Bull Branch park where families can watch and cheer for our youngest participants. Kids will run a 1/2 mile on the hike & bike trail. Medals for all children entered. 5K FEES: Early Bird (now through Sept. 30, 2015) $25 10/1-10/8 $30 Race Day $35 Team Rate $20, minimum 4 racers (Must register by Sept. 30th.) Kids' K $10 (up to age 14) T-shirt for all preregistered participants . Kids' K runners will also receive a Good LIfe medal. Chicken Splat Bingo ? Pick your favorite number for a chance to win a cool prize! Interactive Displays ? Meet police and firefighters and explore their vehicles. Information Booths & Games ? Play old-fashioned fair games while learning more about our community and local groups. Chili Lunch ? Grab a bowl of our healthier version of Texas chili. It's full of veggies, but more importantly it's DELICIOUS. Super Epic Confetti Egg Battle? Plot your strategy and prepare to get covered in confetti. The grand finale is absolutely free.
