Join us for an engaging Power Breakfast featuring Brent Connett, Commissioner Representing the Public for the Texas Workforce Commission. Appointed by Governor Abbott on September 26, 2025, Commissioner Connett brings extensive experience in public service and policy leadership.

Prior to his appointment, he served as Deputy Director of Appointments in the Office of the Governor. His professional background includes senior staff-level roles in the Texas Senate and more than a decade in leadership positions with a legislative caucus and a public policy research foundation. In 2021, he was appointed to the State Employee Charitable Campaign Policy Committee, where he currently serves as chairman.
